January 1, 2025
Added Docker multi-arch image and FreeBSD prebuilt binaries for amd64, arm64, armV7 and armV6 architectures.
December 4, 2024
A number of features and improvements have been added, such as displaying additional information about a book, a section on recent arrivals, an option to control the level of checking for duplicate books, improved selection of the book’s author. The trash folder is no longer required, and scanning of fb2 archives with a large number of books has been accelerated.
August 11, 2024
An important feature of converting books from FB2 to EPUB 2.0 format has been added. The format conversion is performed on the fly when downloading a book with the reader. Now the default download is EPUB format, which allows you to use readers that can work with OPDS catalogs, but do not parse FB2 (Thorium Reader, etc.). Book readers that have the option to select the loading format (PocketBook, Librera, Foliate, etc.) and parse the FB2 format can download books in the original format without conversion.
June 26, 2024
Indexing time has been significantly reduced by parsing XML streams of fb2 files and fb2 archives, as well as parallel batch processing of parsed book files. The full-text search for books and authors has also been improved, a simple check for duplicate books has been added, author parsing has been improved, and a number of errors have been fixed.
September 5, 2022
Book stock directory don’t contain new folder now by default. New acquired books should be placed in STOCK_DIR. Backward compatible with previous separate folder for new books. Logging enhancement
June 3, 2022
Multilingual support and documentation have been significantly improved
May 27, 2022
The first release with cross compiled binaries. It was fully refactored from FLibGo project that is now archived. The purpose of the refactoring was to create a service consisting of a single executable file that did not require additional installation and configuration of the DBMS. This has significantly simplified the installation and configuration of the service and allows the user to do this easily and quickly.
